Your Role

Would you like to join our line of defense against cyberattacks? Anticipate and detect cybercriminal threats. Join the Murex information security team as a Security Expert! As a specialist in Data Loss Prevention, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DLP policies to protect sensitive data, adapting to the evolving security baseline. You will work closely with the SOC team to monitor, detect, and respond to potential data breaches, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and strong data security.

  • Lead DLP project engagements from requirements gathering and design to implementation and support, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory standards.

  • Define and implement DLP strategies that secure sensitive data across platforms, utilizing Microsoft Purview and other Microsoft security solutions.

  • Develop, deploy, and optimize DLP policies, rules, and configurations across multiple channels (email, endpoint, network, cloud).

  • Conduct risk assessments, data discovery, and classification to identify and protect critical data assets within the Microsoft ecosystem.

  • Stay current on market trends, security threats, and advancements in DLP and vulnerability management to advise on best practices and evaluate new solutions.

  • Generate detailed reports on DLP incidents and vulnerability remediation, including root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement.

  • Mentor project team members and conduct training for other departments on DLP awareness


Preferred experience

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, with extensive knowledge in DLP

  • Preferred Proficiency in DLP tools (e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Digital Guardian, purview) and expertise in Microsoft ecosystem integration.

  • Good experience with Microsoft Purview and other Microsoft security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Azure Information Protection).

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) related to data protection.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.

  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals).
