Your role is to contribute to the development of the business strategy in the country and then implement it by generating and qualifying new business opportunities. Through your presence in the country, you will be the main point of contact with our Polish clients and partners, playing a key role in the company’s international growth.
Your main responsibilities include:
Developing your network with stakeholders (municipalities, network operators, public financing institutions, consultancy firms, etc.)
Prospecting activities (monitoring tenders, market follow-up, trade shows, etc.)
Reviewing new business opportunities (commercial context, initial techno-economic evaluation, etc.)
Supporting the Project Manager in client relationships and throughout the preparation of indicative and binding offers
Identifying relevant stakeholders (commercial, land, subsidies, permits) as needed for projects and facilitating the Project Manager’s engagement with them
You will also be responsible for:
Monitoring market developments, regulations, and subsidy mechanisms in the country
Participating in lobbying activities in the country, in collaboration with the Business Development Director
Representing the company at DHN-related events in Poland (webinars, trade shows, site visits, etc.)
Contributing to the development of new commercial offers
You hold a Master’s degree in engineering, business school, or another relevant postgraduate qualification that allows you to understand, assess, and synthesize current and future energy challenges. You have over 10 years of experience in the public services or energy sector in Poland, with a good understanding of the DHN sector, and if possible the industrial sector, and the ability to develop a client portfolio.
You are familiar with the energy challenges in Europe and are convinced that the energy mix must evolve toward a more decarbonized model. You understand the main drivers of energy markets (natural gas, electricity, etc.) and CO2 pricing (EU ETS, national carbon taxes, etc.).
You have excellent skills in prospecting and negotiation. With a strong ability to synthesize, you are recognized for your reliability, proactivity, and organizational skills.
