The Role of Head of Marketing Manager – North America

We are looking for someone to define and deliver the Marketing plan for North America.  This is essentially a field marketing role in which you’ll work closely with our local sales team and be supported by our central marketing team (product marketing, content, digital).

Your Main Responsibilities :

Field Marketing in North America is a new role for OneStock and as such you’ll be expected to figure-out the strategy and tactics, through experimentation and measurement, which will best support our revenue growth plans.  It’s a daunting prospect but the opportunity is huge – we have an outstanding product, amazing customers, a huge market In North America and a world-class team, mostly based in in Europe, to support you.

Your exact responsibilities will largely be up to you to define but are likely to include:

  • Managing our presence at industry tradeshows (and using a pretty good budget to make an impact through side events)
  • Working very closely with our Systems Integrator (SI) partners and our technology partners on co-marketing campaigns
  • Organising top quality prospect and customer events – think ‘breakfast briefings’ or cocktail evenings – for our target customer profile
  • Working with the digital marketing function to define locally-relevant campaigns and to ensure that the local market context is accurately reflected on all of our digital channels
  • Working with the content and product marketing teams to ensure that our positioning, messaging and content resonate with the local audience
  • Working with the global campaigns and partner marketing team to ensure local activity is aligned with global campaigns to maximise efficiency and impact in-market

Of course, before any of that, you’ll need to develop a deep understanding of our target audience and work with our sales team to determine how best to find and engage our audience – messages, channels and brand.


Preferred experience

🎯 The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years+ experience in field marketing or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience of working with SI or technology partners on co-marketing activity
  • Experience of running vendor presence at industry tradeshows – from event selection through negotiation and execution of the event end-to-end
  • A combination of client and agency-side is fine, but ideally not less than 3 years client-side
  • B2B tech experience definitely preferred but not absolutely essential
  • SaaS experience would be great
  • Numbers –  comfortable analysing and making decisions based on data
  • Communication skills – the ability to communicate with various stakeholders on the objectives, plan, progress and outcomes of our North America marketing plan in order to gain buy-in, participation and, where necessary, additional investment
  • Familiarity with managing a budget and working with Finance on the essential admin
  • Ownership – above all, we’re looking for someone with the attitude and confidence to take responsibility for building pipeline in North America – you have to be a genuine self-starter that can operate independently (albeit with plenty of support!)
  • Highly organized – you’ll always know what’s next on your list and you see activities through to completion

 Eastern time zone location prefered.

And as a bonus: coming from our industry, where you already have a network of contacts in the sector would be great
