The position

Job description

Directly reporting to the VP Sales & Revenue, you will take part in the growth of our portfolio of airlines customers with a focus on our new software solutions SkyBreathe® OnBoard, a fuel-saving solution to be used in the cockpit, and SkyBreathe® Aircraft Performance Monitoring, a solution to maintain aircraft in optimal conditions.
These new software solutions are part of our brand new 360° eco-flying platform for airlines marketed under the SaaS model.
You will be directly responsible for generating new revenues and increasing the impact of OpenAirlines thanks to these new products.

You will achieve these goals by:

  • Organizing a solid worldwide prospecting activity and direct on-site meetings with prospecting accounts.
  • Defining the best and most efficient sales approach, applying our sales methodology, and preparing the needed marketing and sales material to manage the process.
  • Setting-up trials with airlines:

    • To be able to demonstrate the value proposition of the new software solutions
    • To finetune our understanding of where they see the greatest value in these products
  • Analyze airlines feedback in coordination with Marketing and Product teams:

    • To finetune the value proposition and the positioning of the new products.
    • To identify additional improvements of the products to meet their expectations and consider their constraints

Managing your sales activity on the new products will also require strong coordination with the other OpenAirlines’ Account Executives in Asia, Europe, or America.

🌟Required skills🌟

  • Talent in sales, proven 3 to 6-year sales experience with measurable achievements
  • Expected academic experience: BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing or MSc with aeronautical skills
  • Proven experience in a SaaS environment, ideally selling solutions to airlines
  • Organizational skills and process-oriented. Able to manage complex sales processes and cycles
  • Able to manage a long lead time to sign deals. Resilient and positive attitude
  • Analytical capabilities to build solid strategic approaches for sales
  • Listening acumen. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Able to work closely with Marketing and Product teams in a transversal way
  • Teamwork, humility, honesty, integrity
