🔎Context of the role:
Within the Science team, you will participate for building an innovative solution to recommend the best flight path possible based on flight data coming from all airlines.
You will have the opportunity to embrace the great challenge of making aviation more fuel efficient and greener.
As a Data Scientist in Flight Operations, you will help Airlines in their opportunities to save more CO2 by having smart comparisons to other airlines operating similar flights.
🏋️♂️Activities & Responsibilities:
Analyze flight data coming from several sources such as flight data recorders (black boxes), radar data, weather data, etc.
Design, develop and validate innovative and pragmatic solutions using data science techniques and physics.
Write an internship report as well as weekly internal presentations.

Currently completed a master’s degree with a strong Data Science component.
Strong knowledge in aeronautics and its impact on the environment.
Great Python development skills.
Familiar with cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Fluent in english.

Our hiring process:
Introduction call: with your tutor. He will tell you more about OpenAirlines, and get to know you better, your background, and your interests.
Final interview: During this step we want to get deeper into your technical knowledge, during a meeting with Nicolas, Head of Science, and Victor, Data Scientist.
