🔎Context of the role:
Within the Sales department, you will define and lead the EMEA’s revenue acquisition and expansion strategy. You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, the Marketing team, and the Customer Experience team to achieve our objectives in terms of business development and revenue expansion.
By joining us, you will directly help airlines to reduce their CO2 emissions.
🏋️♂️Activities & Responsibilities:
You define the business development strategy for the EMEA region alongside the CRO, shaping targeting, account planning, campaign execution, and the go-to-market approach.
You drive commercial strategies and sales enablement initiatives to boost conversion rates and accelerate deal velocity.
You track and analyze key performance metrics to enhance commercial efficiency and improve revenue forecasting in the EMEA region.
You lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing regional revenue team (Account Executives, Sales Engineer, Upsell Account Executive), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
You build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives to unlock high-value opportunities.
Contributing directly to business growth, you take full ownership of dedicated sales campaigns in the EMEA region, from prospecting to closing.

Holder of an MBA or MSc, you have at least five years of experience navigating complex B2B SaaS sales cycles.
You have a deep understanding of airline personas in flight operations.
You are a strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically and quickly adapt to market changes.
You have strong sales acumen and a results-driven leadership style that motivates your team to exceed their targets.
Inspirational and supportive, you have proven management and coaching skills, empowering your team to take ownership, grow, and reach their full potential.
Collaborative and business-oriented, you work seamlessly with Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product teams to drive revenue growth.
You are an excellent communicator—both a persuasive speaker and an active listener—who builds strong relationships at all levels.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset.
Resilient, you thrive in fast-paced environments, and have exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

💶 Salary package: fixed + uncapped bonus based on sales.
You will be travelling within the EMEA region regularly (at least three times a month) to visit prospects & customers.

Our hiring process:
Introduction call: Our HR, Julie, will tell you more about OpenAirlines, and get to know you better, your background, and your interests
Manager & HR interview: You will meet your future Manager, Erik (CRO), and the HR, to discuss your experience, motivations, and alignment with the role and company culture.
Online technical test and debrief interview: You will receive an online test to complete at home, allowing you to assess your commercial and strategic thinking skills. You will then have a debrief interview with your future manager.
Reference checks & Final interview: You will share with us contacts for reference checks. You will meet the CEO to finalise the hiring process.
