Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager - Partnership to lead our efforts in defining, implementing, and managing technical relationships with our ecosystem, particularly focusing on Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Integration Partners. This role is critical in driving elastic deployment capacity of Pelico with enterprise systems used by our customers such as ERP, Business Intelligence solution, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Transport Management Systems (TMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Technical Product Management and Enterprise Architecture, ensuring seamless collaboration and technical interoperability between our SaaS platform and our partners’ solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Pelico Technical Delivery by Partner:
- Product Management: Lead Product Management of Pelico Technical Delivery (TechDel) squad, defining product roadmap, priorities and features required to provide best in class integration between Pelico and our Customer System. This includes taking ownership of our in-house ETL and ERP data extractor, ensuring they seamlessly connect to all relevant solutions, stay cutting edge and are easy to leverage by partners (well-documented and supported by comprehensive training materials).
- System Integrator Partner Journey: Create and refine the partner journey for technical integration and deployment, ensuring it is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with business goals. This includes collaborating with various Pelico team (technical, UI/UX, Enablement). As such, you will build and maintain strong relationships with Integration partners, acting as the primary point of contact for process and product-related inquiries and support.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and resources to System Integrator, including developing integration guides, offering API keys and sandbox environments, and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate on co-developing integration solutions that deliver value to customers. Work with engineering teams to design and develop standard APIs that extend the platform’s capabilities, enabling partners to seamlessly integrate, configure, and deploy customer solutions.
- Track and analyze the performance of partner-enabled customer integration and deployment activities. Constantly seek to reduce the time to go live for our customer.
Technical Data Integration Management:
- Ecosystem Strategy Development: Define and execute the strategy for how our SaaS platform will interact with the broader tech ecosystem, with a focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with ISVs, system integrators, and other technology partners.
- Engineering and Product Collaboration: Partner with internal engineering and product teams to develop and enhance integration capabilities within our platform. Lead technical workshops and provide guidance to ensure integration solutions are aligned with our technology stack.
- 3rd Party Integration: Expand and manage the integration of our SaaS platform with key enterprise systems bringing value added to our customers, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), WMS (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump), Transporters (e.g., Fedex, DHL, CEVA…) and Cloud Provider (Azure, GCP, AWS…). Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
- API and Middleware Oversight: In collaboration with Pelico tech team, design, implement, and maintain APIs that facilitate smooth data exchange between our platform and partner systems. When needed Manage middleware solutions to handle complex data flows and ensure data integrity. A specific attention will be done on data extraction tools with SAP.
- Data Security and Compliance: Ensure that all data integrations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and sector-specific requirements. Implement data governance practices to maintain high data quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technical architecture, technical product management or a related role within the SaaS or technology industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in API development, middleware platforms, and data integration techniques. Experience with ERP is highly desirable (SAP).
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnership strategies with ISVs and other tech partners.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
