[PIAS] is looking for a full-time Business Affairs Director at their office in Brussels or Amsterdam, looking after all continental European business affairs (outside of France). Working closely together with the legal team in London and our Business Affairs Manager in Brussels and reporting to the MD Continental Europe (based in Amsterdam), he / she will be responsible for all business affairs matters across recorded music, music publishing, service deals, and will assist the board in industry related matters. Functions of the role will include:

• Leading the day to day legal and business affairs support to all [PIAS] companies within continental Europe outside of France, to include negotiating and drafting a wide variety of acquisition and disposal agreements.

• Maintaining excellent internal communication and the department’s relationship with all others, especially Royalties, Finance, and Neighboring Rights.

• Providing structured and confident advice to the board.

• Building strong working relationships with global and local senior management.

• Providing support leadership and management to your reports.

• Master’s degree in Belgian or Dutch law. Any experience of French law is a plus.

• Be fluent (both verbally and written) in Dutch and English, French is a plus.

• Have direct legal experience of the music business.

• Have an ability to work accurately under time pressure with a good eye for detail.

• Have proven negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Have an ability to communicate with all staff at the highest and lowest levels.

• Be a good team player.

• Be passionate about music.
