The EMEA Marketing team is looking for an intern (6 months minimum) to support their hybrid events strategy (in-person/virtual). The ideal candidate will be able to jump right in, be hands on and a fast learner with a proactive mindset. Above all, the Marketing Events Intern must be comfortable communicating with different stakeholders (wider marketing team, sales teams, vendors, customers and speakers), coming up with creative ideas to create memorable events experiences.
What You Will do:
Support EMEA Marketing Managers with events planning and execution, both offline and online, including third party conferences, proprietary events, internal events, community events and virtual events such as webinars and product tours.Manage the event process end to end from researching vendors, booking venues, working with graphic designers, preparing invites and tracking registrations and attendance, sourcing gifts, handling logistics and day-to-day administration such as budget management and leads uploads.Support the team on the execution of partner marketing activities.Ensure our CRM, campaign management and budget tracker is always up-to-date for accurate reporting.Support the marketing team with the management of communications such as email marketing and newsletters.Support the marketing and sales teams with their follow-up and reporting on performance. Perform audits and analysis on inbound lead management.Suggest process improvements and find synergies between the different marketing teams and managers.Who You Are:
Experience in event planning or event coordination is a plusExcellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeA positive attitude, strong organization skills, process-oriented and excellent attention to details.Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) in marketing or related fieldExperience in managing budgets and tracking expensesProficiency with more than one language.
