At PowerZ, we want to create 2 complementary communities:
A community of children - around the game and all over the world. Thousands/Millions of children who want to build PowerZ with us.
A community of parents who want to work with us in finding the best way to inspire children to learn.
We’ll need to bring these communities to life, making them effective, responsible and involved.
After our success in France, you will help us set foot in the US by growing our online presence and our community there. You will be part of the Growth Marketing team, and will be managed by our Community & Social Media Manager.
Our ideal Community & Social Media Intern would be someone capable of engaging with parents and children online on various platforms. Someone who would continuously listen, understand everyone’s concerns, and build a community. Someone who’s relatable, funny, empathetic, and can bring them together in a solid, powerful movement, to change education.
Your tasks:
Challenge the content and ton of voice of each platform, as needed, to increase awareness of the company and its game
Define and maintain a consistent publication schedule
Create content for social media (TikTok, Instagram, Discord, etc)
Analysis and reporting
Encourage children to share their ideas for the game. This brings together the essential ingredients: listening, empathy… and still being a child at heart!
Set up online to involve them in the construction of the game: workshops, play-tests, content reveals…
Get them involved in our approach, open up conversations and make them true spokespeople for the game.
Organize events and initiate discussions on educational topics
Assist in creating online content strategy across all networks
Create written, visual, audio and video content for publications
Build and maintain consistent publication schedules
Analyze KPIs (growth, engagement, etc.).
If you see yourself in these descriptions, then you’re a much better person than most of us, and we’d love to meet you (even if you don’t tick all the boxes!):
Some knowledge/experience in Community Management, Social Media Management
You have at least some basic experience with Photoshop/Canva… and Premiere Pro/CapCut (we can teach you the rest of course)
A good listener, accessible, give your full attention: you regularly see a therapist. It makes them feel good. And it helps you make money on the side.
Involved and proactive: you’re always the one planning your surprise birthday party, not because you don’t have any friends - you’ve got loads of them - just because it’ll be done better.
Resourceful/Creative: With 1 nail, 2 screwdrivers and 10,000 euros, you’re capable of organizing a meet-up with the best experts. You might not even need the nail or screwdrivers.
Meticulous: When you go on vacation, you’re not the type to forget half your stuff before you leave. Or miss your train.
Concise, articulate, perfect oral and written expression, perfect spelling: you love to write. You have an innate sense of spelling without being unpleasant with your colleagues. You know how to use words with more than 3 syllables. And you love to tell stories. Convey emotions. Make people dream.
Passionate about education: this is the first and most essential reason. You’re passionate, authentic, and deeply convinced that changing education will change the world.
Native English speaker: of course and ideally based in France
