Job description

Job Summary:

The IT Support Analyst will provide technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining IT documentation. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in person.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.

  • Manage user accounts and access permissions in Active Directory and other systems.

  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.

  • Document IT procedures, solutions, and knowledge base articles.

  • Assist with IT inventory management and procurement.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and maintain accurate records in the ticketing system.

  • Provide training and support to employees on IT systems and applications.


Preferred experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in an IT support role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.

  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and network basics.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving 1 and analytical skills.  

  • Fluency in English and French.
