ABOUT THE ROLE…
As a Presales Systems Engineer you will leverage your technical expertise to pilot the sales & adoption of our PURE solutions with prospects and existing customers in the Enterprise, Commercial or Public sector.
You collaborate with customers to understand their business goals, their pain points, and propose creative solutions in collaboration with our key alliance partners. You will work closely with other pre-sales, sales, partner sales & enablement, marketing, and leadership team members to help develop and grow business with the full PURE portfolio of solutions.
Your Challenge:
- Be a Strategic Partner: Understand customers' business needs and craft tailored solutions that drive results.
- Showcase Innovation: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proofs of concept that highlight the value of our platform.
- Support Sales Excellence: Refine strategies, assist with technical configurations, and ensure success in customer install bases and white-space opportunities.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Marketing to deliver impactful events, webinars, and collateral, and support partner training and onboarding.
- Lead & Mentor: Inspire the presales team, coach junior engineers, and drive technical initiatives within the organization.
- Expand Opportunities: Conduct analyses to identify new business prospects and develop winning responses to RFPs and tenders.
What You’ll Achieve:
- Design and deliver impactful product and architecture presentations that secure technical wins.
- Manage and respond expertly to tenders, RFIs, and RFPs.
- Collaborate with Product and Technical Marketing to produce whitepapers, presentations, and other materials.
- Stay current with market trends and competitive landscapes to ensure our platform remains the leading choice.
What You’ll Bring...
- Proven Expertise: 5+ years of IT pre-sales experience selling to mid-to-large enterprises, plus 3+ years of experience in the cloud infrastructure domain.
- Technical Depth (Strongly Desired): Familiarity with storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, NVMeoF, SAN, Object S3), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud-native transformations, and provisioning automation.
- Broad IT Knowledge: Experience with UNIX environments, networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet), application backup software, and multi-tiered client/server systems.
- Market Savvy: Ability to target new prospects, convert them into clients, and navigate the competitive landscape effectively.
- Collaborative Leadership: Team-oriented, open-minded, and able to mentor junior team members while excelling in cross-functional initiatives.
- Native/Bilingual French and business professional English Required
