Job description

Pure is seeking a Senior Commissions Analyst to manage sales compensation and monthly commission calculations with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with sales leadership, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant commission processing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer sales compensation plans accurately and on schedule using SAP Commissions/CallidusCloud.
  • Calculate and process monthly commission payments, ensuring alignment with compensation plans and payroll timelines.
  • Partner with sales management and Sales Compensation teams to develop, modify, and implement variable compensation plans in Callidus.
  • Collaborate across functions (Finance, HR, Sales Operations) to maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Work with finance and auditors to support commission-related accruals and compliance requirements.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Respond to and resolve commission-related inquiries via ServiceNow, ensuring timely and clear communication with sales representatives.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to commissions.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in sales compensation, commissions, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite; experience with SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud), Xactly, Anaplan, or other leading incentive compensation applications.
  • Experience navigating Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and adapt to changing business needs.
