🌏 Location: You can choose to work in a full-remote mode as long as you're living in either France or Spain.


Mission:


Join us as a Front-End Staff Engineer to lead our Regate's team transition from monolith architecture to mono-repos, enhancing our product delivery by optimizing our front-end operations. Collaborate closely with Victor, our seasoned Staff Engineer, to elevate our testing frameworks and design systems across all front-end squads.


👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Front-End Staff Engineer for our Regate team, you will:


Migrate from a monolith to a mono-repo and adapt all the related architecture on Regate's product.

Develop and enforce a robust testing framework that integrates QA from the initial stages of development.

Collaborate with the design team to synchronize the coding design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

Mentor and support mid-level and senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

• Regularly review and optimize front-end code, maintaining high standards of quality and performance.


🤔 What you can expect:

• Some successful projects: Recently transitioned our testing framework to include more comprehensive integration tests, significantly reducing bugs in production.

Tools we use: React, TypeScript, Cypress, Vitest, React Query, Styled-components.

Starting as a network engineer, he has evolved into a role where he excels at building and guiding teams that face and overcome large-scale challenges. His leadership style is characterized by a hands-on coaching approach, aiming to foster a structured yet innovative environment for delivering secure and reliable products. He is passionate about ultra endurance sports, which reflects his professional ethos of resilience, perseverance, and striving for excellence.


Under his guidance, you'll join a team that not only prioritizes high-quality software development but also champions a collaborative culture, ready to tackle ambitious projects!

• You are proficient in React and TypeScript with a strong understanding of modern testing frameworks.

• You ideally have experience leading large-scale architectural transitions, such as from monolith to mono-repos.

• You are an excellent communicator able to mentor and elevate a team of skilled developers.

• You thrive in a dynamic environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• You are proactive and continuously seek to improve both processes and technologies.
