Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced economist to join our economic analysis team. The
selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing and producing economic reports
based on internal macroeconomic indicators, with a specific focus on the advantage of
QuantCube’s real-time forecasting compared to lagged official figures.
This key role involves close collaboration with economic modeling teams (Data
Scientists) and marketing and sales teams to deliver in-depth analyses, demonstrating
the added value of our product and its concrete applications in financial markets.
He/she will be responsible for producing regular reports by analyzing the interactions
between economic dynamics and financial markets. Their strategic recommendations
will be essential for guiding stakeholder decisions, actively contributing to the
company’s direction and success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear and relevant macroeconomic analyses, using real-time

    interest rates).

  • Draft detailed economic reports, establishing connections between
macroeconomic trends and their impact on financial markets, tailored to various

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, and quantitative teams to
align economic analyses with identified market opportunities, and contribute to writing specialized content, including newsletters for clients and prospects. The
goal is to highlight the product’s practical applications and impact, reinforcing
    the company’s strategic positioning.

  • Prepare presentations for internal stakeholders (management, commercial
teams, data science) and external parties (clients, investors, partners),
emphasizing the conclusions of economic analyses and their relevance to
    strategic decisions.

  • Communicate economic implications in an accessible and engaging way,
simplifying complex results for non-specialist clients while ensuring clarity and
    rigor.

  • Monitor macroeconomic and regulatory trends at both regional and global
levels, and assess their potential impact on the company’s economic forecasts
    and strategies.

  • Work closely with the data and technology teams to ensure the availability
and reliability of economic data needed for real-time analysis.

Preferred experience

  • Education: Master’s or PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or related
    fields.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally
within a financial institution, consulting firm, or international organization.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret and synthesize complex data,
particularly linking macroeconomic changes with financial markets.

  • Economic Simplification: Ability to translate complex economic analyses into
    understandable terms for non-technical audiences.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Languages: Fluent in English; another language is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while being proactive in collaborating with
    multidisciplinary teams.

  • A sense of responsibility and commitment to producing precise results within
    tight deadlines.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to rapidly changing economic contexts.

  • Dynamic and fast-paced work environment with a strong international
    dimension.

  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact strategic projects.

  • Continuous training and career development opportunities.
