📢 As our DevSecOps, you’ll help us maintain and improve our existing infrastructure. You will study and implement the continuous deployment and the hosting of all the Applications of Rail Europe, mainly on AWS Cloud, in a secure way. 🔐

The team is responsible for the development of an online booking service for train travel throughout Europe: Rail Europe.🚆 The mission of the team is to make booking trains anywhere in Europe as easy and affordable as possible, from epic international adventures to everyday local commutes. 

As well as being part of an international team of engineers responsible for all the processes, tools and resources needed to support high-availability cloud-based platforms, you’ll also be working in this technical environment 🛠: 

  • B2B side: Java, Kotlin, Spring, Node, Angular, Redis, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Ruby, Sidekiq, Docker, AWS, ECS 

  • B2C side: RoR, React, CoffeeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Redis, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Docker, AWS, ECS 

  • Accounting: Python, Glue, Redshift, Quicksight, AWS 

As a DevSecOps in Rail Europe, you will: 

  • Create, develop, and implement solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements. 🔐

  • Take part in the design and security of our infrastructure architecture: be an actor of the build of the structural parts and interfaces between the different components. ✨

  • Improve and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, including automated security checks. 💻

  • Follow quality standards defined with the Tech lead DevOps and each tech team. ✅

  • Help development teams to implement security patterns and best practices. 💪

  • Work on improvements and automation of processes and request management system. 📈

  • Contribute to evaluate our Technical Skills coverage and identify improvements and continuously work to improve our technical excellence. 🥇

  • Work closely with the technical teams to help them progress in the security of their developments and improve the application security. 🤝

Preferred experience

👨‍🎓 You have a Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree 

🐱‍👤 You have a good understanding of modern software engineering processes and technologies by leading project teams through the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, and delivery of solutions 

🛠 You have technical experience with : 

  • Git and pipelines: At least on one CI tool such as Jenkins/Gitlab/GitHub 

  • Containerization and container orchestration, preferably using Docker and Kubernetes 

  • InfraAsCode : Terraform, GitOps 

  • Cloud computing, especially using AWS services 

  • Serverless approaches (e.g.  using AWS Lambda) 

  • Familiar with information security frameworks and standards 

  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure: VPC, subnets 

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.

🌍 You are fluent in both English and French

🚄 Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
