The position

Job description

We’re currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Leuven. In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing and implementing energy projects that truly make a difference.

Key responsibilities:

· Representing the company to local municipalities, regional authorities, and media during the development phase

· Overseeing legal aspects of urban development for our facilities

· Ensuring compliance with building permit requirements throughout the project

· Advising our development team on design, implementation, and technical aspects of the development

· Acting as a liaison with plant owners, tenants, and local/regional authorities

· Leading negotiations for land use with owners, tenants, and municipalities to support construction

· Managing compensation plans for any land damage caused during construction

· Contributing to project planning and budgeting

· Organizing the selection of external engineering and design firms

· Monitoring civil and electrical infrastructure progress

· Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with HSE and CSR policies

· Providing regular progress updates and risk assessments to management


Preferred experience

· Ideally, you have a master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

· You bring 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on project management

· Knowledge of renewable energy is a big plus

· Dutch is your first language, and you’re comfortable with written and spoken French and English

· You’re assertive, communicative, and enjoy building relationships

· You can manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances

· You’re proactive in solving problems and completing tasks without needing to be prompted

· You hold yourself to high standards and ensure quality in your work

· You take responsibility seriously and maintain professionalism and discretion at all times

· You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
