Job Description
We are looking for a legal counsel to join the Group legal team, available as soon as possible with an interest in SaaS transactions, data protection, cyber-security, IP and, more generally, growing and scaling up an innovative business in a team of highly motivated and dedicated workers.
Your missions
Negotiating, drafting, reviewing and updating contracts, building and improving the contractual infrastructure (including by monitoring the contract templates) to support the business and sustain growth;
Providing a wide-range of practical legal advice to Group management and business teams on the implementation of commercial agreements, business models and strategies, business operations, marketing activities, product offerings, and international scaling strategies;
Enhancing global compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all of the Group’s subsidiaries, in particular with respect to data protection and IT law (including GDPR, NIS 2 and the AI Act);
Implementing and following up actions in order to monitor our sustainability and improve our ESG processes;
Developing in-house legal tools and policies, and conducting trainings to business units;
Monitoring developments in case law, legislation and regulations that may have an impact on our business;
Setting policies and procedures on contract management.
Your experience:
Advanced law degree in civil law and/or common law;
A management/business advanced degree or LL.M would be a plus;
At least 4-5 years of post-qualification experience at a leading law firm and/or corporation. In-house experience is welcome (especially if tech/saas related);
Knowledge of privacy and data protection law would be a plus.

Curious, creative, ambitious and resourceful, with an aptitude for understanding new subjects and issues rapidly;
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with both a great attention to details and strong business sense;
Flexible and pro-active personality. Ability to work both as a team player and independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to take ownership of projects and exercise responsibilities;
Capacity to rapidly assess and prioritize multiple demands and propose pragmatic solutions;
Interest in cloud computing and SaaS;
Fluent in both French and English (with excellent verbal and written communication skills).
Ability to work with remote teams.
