Welcome to SMG Swiss Marketplace Group
We are a pioneering network of online marketplaces and a leading European digital company that simplifies people's lives with forward-looking products.

Job Description

Become part of SMG's General Marketplaces (GM) division, which includes the brands anibis.ch, Ricardo and tutti.ch. We are seeking a dynamic (Junior) Social Media Producer to join our marketing team and spearhead our social media content creation efforts with a special focus on TikTok and Instagram.

Your goal - and ours - is to further our mission: promote a circular economy and make second-hand the first choice for consumers in Switzerland. As a vital member of our team, you will become one of the key faces in our French-speaking social media channels and play a pivotal role in engaging our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate loves the camera: both standing in front of it and holding it to record others.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling video and image content for our social media channels in French, which cater primarily to our French-speaking audience in Romandie (western Switzerland).
  • Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit video content, including but not limited to trend videos, tutorials, product showcases etc.
  • Develop visually appealing graphics and images to accompany social media posts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall brand strategy and messaging.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into our content strategy.
  • Engage with our French-speaking audience in Romandie (western Switzerland) through comments, messages, and live interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media features, algorithms, and best practices.

Preferred experience

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • A basic grasp of German is advantageous
  • Fearless attitude towards appearing on camera and comfortable with public speaking
  • Proficient in video and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
  • Creative thinker with excellent storytelling skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Passion for social media and a keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends

If you are a creative individual with a passion for social media and a knack for producing engaging content, we want to hear from you! Join our team and be a part of shaping our brands' online presence.
