This role involves supporting efforts to enhance shop floor performance within an aerospace repair environment by developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implementing visual manufacturing tools. The position works closely with the operations team to analyze workflows, design practical solutions, and introduce systems that improve transparency, efficiency, and productivity. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to apply analytical skills and operational knowledge in a fast-paced aerospace repair setting, contributing to impactful, real-world projects.
Education / Experience:
‐ Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
‐ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and generate actionable insights.
‐ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and visual management tools is a plus.
‐ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team members at all levels.
‐ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
‐ Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
