a) Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of aircraft parts and consumables from approved suppliers
b) Manage equipment calibration subcontracting services
c) Sale of parts
d) Ensure timely delivery of materials within the required lead-time by suppliers
e) Manage the relationship with our suppliers & subcontractors
f) Support supply chain manager in team management and provide leadership to junior staff
g) In charge of managing quality issue (warranty claim, non-conformity reports etc.)
h) To liaise with the functional team members (ops/sales admin/engineering & etc) to fulfill delivery commitment program
i) Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce delivery lead time and cost
j) Manage and develop supplier base and distributors to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance
k) Administration of sub-contract job.
l) Comply with all health, safety and environment (HSE) regulations as prescribed by law and company's policies.
m) Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations.
n) Take up the role of an appointed officer for HSE / Safran Group policies as required
o) Participate and contribute to CIP, Innovation, 5S etc.
p) Perform job / tasks as assigned by the management and other duties as required
a) Diploma / Degree in relevant domains
b) Knowledge of Mechatronics and Electronics will be an added advantage
c) 3 years related experience in Aviation industry
d) Strong fundamental in supplier and distributor management
e) Excellent communication skills and able to interact with people of all levels
f) Good knowledge on Microsoft Excel
g) SAP experience would be appreciated (basic knowledge of transactions)
h) Good knowledge of aviation regulations such as CAAS-L11/L12 will be an added advantage
i) Knowledge of French language would be an advantage
