Main responsibilities

  • Lead the development and/or validation of the Where to Play and How to Win brand strategy based on a clear vision and right to win.

  • Contribute to lead the Brand Building including the validation and alignment with the category global leadership team & lead Essentiale markets on the brand fundamentals (including brand positioning, architecture, new generation of claims & packaging design).

  • Lead a cross-functional dialogue to get alignment on the brand strategy by developing respective functional tactical plans meeting the strategic imperatives of the brand.

  • Expand product solutions and offerings, based on consumer and customer insights. Develop innovation concepts for new positioning or new launches

  • Deliver annual global integrated brand plan for specific brands as base for the regional and local brand plans in alignment with global category strategy.

  • Prepare and communicate strategic guidelines to maintain alignment across regions and countries and increase equity, awareness, and engagement

  • In co-operation with global commercial operations, coach, direct and support regions and countries as required to achieve aligned objectives

  • Work with category consumer insight lead and local markets to keep abreast of changing customer and consumer needs

  • Generate insights in collaboration with insights manager to fuel product and commercial innovation across the brand

  • Identify the strongest consumer insights and target claims to maximize the competitiveness of current and future products, by working in close cooperation with the category consumer insight manager to generate, gather and analyse market intelligence

  • Deliver strategic and financial objectives based on operating plan

  • Planning and controlling of internal brand budget

  • Regularly conduct in depth analysis of market trends, brand performance, competition review and make recommendations to optimize marketing and business development strategies  

  • Support regions & core strategic markets to achieve objectives on market share, sales volume growth, brand equity, and brand health

  • In partnership with lead Essentiale markets develop and implement all global communication tools (TV, print, POS, digital, radio, OOH, HCP) to support the brand objectives in close collaboration with lead countries

  • Measure the success of the communication mix in key countries and take action to ensure its effectiveness

  • Build strategic partnerships with approved communication agencies

About you

  • 8 years minimum expertise in consumer marketing, previous global experience a strong plus.

  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies & branding

  • Experience in advertising development, brand positioning, communication & new product concepts development

  • Experience managing projects independently and autonomously

  • Education: Business School or Bac+5 +MBA (ideally with focus on marketing)

  • Strategic thinking, creativity and problem-solving

  • English required, French or German is a plus.

  • Strong analytical thinking, action planning and organizing

  • Team spirit, persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with all cross functional partners

  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal, especially in groups, preparing and delivering presentations
