The Product Manager is integrated into the Websales & Comparison engines Team in Paris.
You coordinate a team of 4 developers and 1 product designer to create the best product to help users choose and subscribe their home contracts (energy, insurance, telecom) online.
Your product perimeter encompasses the energy comparison tool selectra.info/energie (and its international versions) as well as the telecom and insurance comparison tools. You’ll sit right on the edge of business and technology.
Learning and analyzing about the market, the customers, Selectra’s business and data.
Growing a strategic vision for your products in coordination with the Chief Product Officer and the general management
Applying discovery techniques to understand customers’ needs, figure out which features are the most useful and make sure that each and every story entering the backlog is really worth coding.
Following the product culture methodology to run A/B tests with prototypes and make decisions based on data
Our comparison engines have a dual purpose: they are a product which users can use to compare offers; and they are also the repository of offers; which are made available to many different teams & services (examples: our websites, to display dynamically generated offer tables; our software used by the telesales team, to calculate the monthly payment).
As PM of our Comparison Engines, you will have to grow and maintain with your Engineers a vision of how those offer data should be housed in our database; and prioritize & answer queries made by other teams regarding that.
We expect you to take strong leadership over your business line and to feel empowered to make the right choices to reach the objectives and key results which you set to yourself, while listening to stakeholders’ inputs.
At Selectra, we expect our PMs to:
grow a strategic vision on their Product;
propose and negotiate every quarter OKRs, and then deliver;
on a day to day basis, manage the discovery and delivery; knowing that we organize our work in sprints with the Developers and the Product Designer;
report on a regular basis to the CPO and Management about the progress of your Squad.

You graduated from one of the best business or engineering schools, Sciences Po Paris or university equivalent and recognize yourself in the following:
Ideally with an initial experience (in product management is a huge plus) with an affinity for the tech/digital environment or UX/UI
Fluency in English and in French is essential for this role, any other language is a plus like spanish.
