Semji is looking for a dynamic US Business Developer, based in France to develop our activities in the US market.

As a US Business Developer, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing the complete sales cycle for the Semji solution.
During the first 3 months, your responsibilities will focus on prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating sales appointments. After that, your tasks will evolve to allow you to convert generated prospects into clients, managing the entire sales cycle. At that point, you’ll have a Sales Development Representative to assist you with prospecting.
You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to achieve Semji’s growth objectives in the United States.
In summary, your daily tasks will include :
Inbound Sales Prospecting
Lead qualification and identification
Appointment setting
Management of the entire sales cycle (identification, negotiation, closing)
Delivering demos of our platform and its features
Definition and implementation of development strategies across different sectors
Ensure handover processes for clients you sign to CSMs who manage long-term commercial relationships
Updating the CRM tool (Hubspot)
Monitoring results and KPIs
Reporting to the Team Leader
You have 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the SaaS or digital marketing sector
Ideally, you have experience in the SaaS/software industry.
You have experience dealing with Key Accounts and can adapt to different stakeholders
Your customer discovery skills, objection handling, and overall sales techniques make you a true hunter!
You understand the challenges of the SEO market and digital marketing (bonus)
You are either American or have spent several years living in the US
You live in France and can occasionally travel to Lyon
You have excellent communication and business negotiation skills
Your strengths: Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work in a constantly evolving environment

You will work from home, though occasional trips to Lyon are expected to meet with the team and your manager.
The average compensation package for this role is $100k gross per year.
You will receive meal vouchers, company health insurance, and transportation support if needed.
Working hours follow US East Coast time: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
You’ll be supervised by Corentin Mirande, Head of International Development.
