As a Staff Engineer, you’ll join our Engineering Team composed of 2 squads (Sell & Policy Management) of dozens of Full Stack Software Engineers, led by Guillaume (CTO).
The Staff Engineer’s mission at Seyna is to execute the roadmap within her/his squad and to participate in the continuous improvement of the platform. The Staff Engineer should influence all engineering providing best practices and improving our technical standards. With that in mind, you’ll:
Execute highly complex parts of the roadmap within your squad, delivering high-quality code, reviews, tests, and documentation.
Take and propose technical architecture design decisions, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Challenge the Product team to refine specifications, always keeping business objectives in mind.
Mentor the squad by proposing solutions, simplifying complexities, and motivating towards timely delivery, significantly impacting the skills and abilities of team members.
Comprehend requirements with significant ambiguity and work autonomously on provided topics, driving projects forward with confidence and expertise.
Develop a deeper focus on one or more frameworks or key services of the platform, becoming a go-to expert within your area of specialization.
You have excellent technical knowledge spanning JavaScript (Node, React), TypeScript, AWS, GitHub, and more, enabling you to contribute effectively to Seyna’s diverse tech stack.
You are delivery-driven, prioritizing the creation of useful features over engineering for its own sake, ensuring that your work has a tangible impact on the product and the business.
You are well-versed in tech development methodologies, adept at applying best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across projects.
You demonstrate proficiency in architecture, capable of designing scalable and robust solutions that align with Seyna’s long-term objectives.
You are committed to self-improvement, continuously seeking opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
You excel in problem-solving, approaching challenges with creativity and tenacity to devise effective solutions that drive progress.
Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights that align with business goals.
