OVERVIEW:

Assists global Quality & ME SVP, Quality Director for supplier quality management and supplier development.

WORKING LOCATION: Zhejiang Jiaxing Haining/Zhejiang Ningbo Area

Accountabilities:

Essential Functions

  • Manages and supervises a team of Quality engineers and Inspectors.
  • Coordinates with supplier to achieve 99% FPY and max output at day 1 of the mass production.
  • Coordinates with suppliers to implements all the CARs generated from PSI, customer returns, Life Tests, Line Audits, LA audits, Customer factory Audits and other Corrective Action Requests.
  • Working with supplier to develop an environment that is conductive to the establishment and continual improvement of Quality.
  • Drives supplier continual improvement, regularly review supplier CIP, Kaizen and Lesson learn
  • Executes the factory audits, independent audit, supplier maturity assessment to increase supplier overall quality management ability.
  • Leads the PSI activities and analyses the Lot Rejection and Yield data to improve the Product Quality.
  • Leads the Product Failure Analysis and drives Corrective Actions.
  • Involves in Product/material Reworks and Dispositions recommendations.
  • Involves in new project process and perform manufacturing readiness review.
  • Involves in NPD process and prepares the Quality Plans, PSI inspection instruction, EB Samples Audits and necessary documents needed in PRRA.
  • Determines CTQ parameters, performs Process Capability Study and drives pFMEA to improve Product Quality.
  • Participates in ECN and Deviation implementations together with engineering team and supplier.
  • Participates in the Retailers’ Factory Assessment Audit and testing with suppliers.
  • Facilitates a safe working environment for subordinates.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Facilitates, coordinates and leading the suppliers to improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and Shark internal departments to achieve 99% FPY and max output at day one of mass production
  • Closely works Boston, China QA/testing team to implement the Product safety, Customer Returns and Customer Experiences initiatives in suppliers’ facility.

Hiring Requirements:

Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in quality management, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, etc.
  • 8+ years experience in quality management related.
  • Be familiar with the utilization of quality tools to lead issues resolved or improvement.
  • Experience with and understanding of quality standard, quality audit and quality improvement.
  • Auditor qualification or certified enterprise work experience is preferred.

Functional Skills/Knowledge

  • Fluent in oral and written English. The communication capability of Chinese will be perfect.
  • Quality management background
  • Assesses, coaches, and monitors the developments of team members and supplier.
  • Guides others to the desired outcome through a logical sequence of discussions.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Be honest, loyal to the work
  • Can be traveling when necessary
