  • Work with US/UK/JP market teams to define new product electrical functions.
  • Work closely with US-EE team to implement electrical solution in design.
  • Define electrical design specification for new products.
  • Work closely with PCBA suppliers to create cost-advantage EE solution in new product.
  • Work closely with China NPD team to verify EE design in prototype stage.
  • Support NPI team to introduce/verify EE design from EB to MP.
  • Review and release DVT report and PCBA approval sheets in each building stage.
  • Work with DQTP lab to define test items to verify EE design based on SN product standards.
  • Help to do troubleshooting for electrical issues in testing and production.
  • Work with SC teams to meet aggressive cost target in design/components/2nd source suppliers.
  • Work with quality team to implement high quality requirements in design/DFM/manufacturing.
  • Work with component manufacturers to do RC analysis for EE issues in market.
  • Technical experience sharing within EE team, help to build EE as a professional/high efficiency/sharing team, helps each member growing within this team.

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Experience:
  • At least 8+ years work experience in PCBA design and manufacture for home appliance or similar electronics system.
  • At least 6 years work experience in circuit design includes both analog and digital circuit.
  • Good experience in PCBA manufacturing and testing.

  • Technical knowledge requirement
  • Good knowledge of design and verification for power supply, micro processer, sensor, heater and motor control etc.
  • Good knowledge in analog/digital circuit theory.
  • Good knowledge and skill to design Schematic, PCB layout, circuit simulation and design review.
  • Good knowledge of safety design to comply with UL and IEC standards.
  • Good knowledge of electronics component (MOS, TRIAC, relay, IR…) selection and verification.
  • Good knowledge of design for reliability, DFMEA, RCA etc.
  • Good knowledge of design for manufacture and PCBA manufactures process.
  • Good knowledge of EMC requirement and rich experience in EMC improving.
  • Good knowledge of PCBA verification test requirement and procedure.
  • Good knowledge of 6 sigma.

  • Communication Skills
  • Good skills in reading, writing and oral English communication.
  • Good skills in technical writing, explain technical issue and solution clearly and focusing.
  • Good communicating skills to cooperate with different teams.

Education/Certifications/Affiliations

  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related majors.

Travel Requirements

  • Be flexible for domestic and international travel.
