Job description

Join Our Sustainability-Focused Team at Siemens!

What we do?

In our Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) we procure materials and services for Siemens companies worldwide, upholding the highest standards of health, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance. Our Material Compliance team is pivotal in supporting global locations by collecting substance information from suppliers, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and responsible sourcing.

As we expand our team, we are looking for a senior-level colleague who is committed to sustainability and can lead initiatives to ensure our products meet high-quality and environmental standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage the supplier registration process on our online platform, making sure we meet environmental regulations.
  • Connect with suppliers to encourage timely registration and clear communication about sustainability requirements.
  • Collect and check substance declarations to ensure everything is accurate and complete in the system.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, offering support and guidance during the registration process.
  • Regularly update senior management and internal teams on progress and insights, and look for ways to improve the process.
  • Work closely with EHS specialists to support our sustainability efforts and ensure we follow best practices.

Does Your Profile Match This?

We're looking for someone who shines in both German and English and loves to communicate! If you have experience in coordination roles, especially in procurement or compliance within an international setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Here’s what we’re hoping you’ll bring to the team:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a structured approach to managing projects.
  • The ability to work independently while also leading and inspiring teams to collaborate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel, with a knack for data management and reporting.
  • A passion for sustainability! If you have insights into environmental regulations and compliance, that’s a big plus.

If this sounds like you, we’d be thrilled to connect!
