The position

Job description

Are you skilled in supply chain management, particularly in Material Management? Do you thrive when faced with new challenges? Join our logistics team as a Material Management Consultant in Siemens' Global Business Services (GBS) team, where your expertise is crucial.

As a Material Management Consultant, you will:

  • Offer expert SAP MM (and PP) support and training to enhance forecasting, production planning, and material management at our factories.
  • Lead both consulting and SAP implementation projects tailored for manufacturing environments, aiming to optimize our supply chain processes.
  • Design and implement new processes using lean methods, digitalization, and automation.
  • Support the development and implementation of new manufacturing services across our Global Business Services Central and Eastern Europe Hub.

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Expertise in supply chain management, with demonstrated success in relevant projects or operational roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP MM and familiarity with modules like PP, QM, or PM; a high affinity for IT and experience with Agile methodologies are advantageous.
  • Proven project management skills and experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and a customer-focused, innovative mindset.
  • Full proficiency in both English and German.
