Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Management:
Assist in designing and implementing data collection tools and methodologies.
Collect, clean and coherence check data from various program activities, surveys, and reports.
Maintain accurate and organized records of current year’s M&E data.
Data Analysis:
Support the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance and impact.
Generate data visualizations and summary reports to communicate findings effectively.
Reporting and Documentation:
Contribute to the preparation of regular M&E reports, including progress updates and impact assessments.
Assist in documenting best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
Capacity Building:
Assist in supporting the staff and volunteer up-skilling on M&E processes and tools.
Collaborate with team members to enhance the organization’s overall M&E capacity.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in regular M&E team meetings to review progress and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in the development and refinement of M&E frameworks and strategies.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
Proficiency in using data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Power BI data visualization or similar tools) is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
