As a Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in defining and developing innovative metrics. You will collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their challenges and work towards crafting solutions through advanced models.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with SkillCorner AI teams to create model definitions for training and development.

• Building and curating training datasets, including assembling video libraries.

• Collaborating with the product and analysis teams to design and develop metrics for clients, including creating event feeds (XML, JSON, CSV).

• Working closely with AI, Product, and Analysis teams to validate model outputs and produce reports and documentation for internal and client-facing use.

Essential Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of football.

• At least 3 years of experience as a video/data analyst within a professional football club.

• Knowledge of analysis packages SportsCode, and SGB.

• Experience in creating metrics from large datasets.

• Familiarity with using S3 for data storage and transfer.

• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proven ability to coordinate projects and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with data in R and/or Python

• Proficiency in working with event datasets and utilising tools such as Tableau, Power BI

• Familiarity with data modelling techniques such as deep learning, random forests, and XGBoost.

• UEFA B coaching qualification.

• Ability to speak an additional language.

Additional Requirements:

• Regular travel to our Paris office (once every two months).

• Occasional travel across Europe to meet clients.
