Position Summary:
Banks are increasingly relying on smartTrade to help them solve their biggest challenges and increase loyalty, retention, acquisition, and revenue. As a Support Analyst, your main responsibility will be to provide technical oversight and help smartTrade internal teams, customers and partners be successful with TTS - Interbank Forex Platform. You will solve complex technical challenges such as diagnosing multiple data systems via multiple protocols, identifying and recommending solutions that can provide real-time decisions for many customers, and helping connect customers to all the products in the smartTrade.
Your knowledge of databases, programming languages, and web technologies will enable you to provide a level of architectural oversight and technical solutions to achieve customer success. You will be the expert of our software and delivering standard methodologies to other internal groups at smartTrade.
Responsibilities include:
Assist clients in identifying issues with underlying our Forex Application
Investigate and manage trading problems
Monitoring the systems.
Thinking on your feet to address issues ranging from missing trades to exchange connectivity problems to system outages.
Proactively preventing future problems by coming up with both tactical and strategic solutions.
Assist with identification of software bugs and work with internal teams to resolve the issues
Perform regression testing of the full range of products and features on our platform
Resolve technical problems or business workflow issues during initial client communication
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years technology or in a vendor company for banks.
Able to understand and work with SQL,Unix Shell / Bash Scripting
Independent, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
Experience with the FIX protocol and/or knowledge of the Java language (including Spring and Hibernate frameworks) is a plus.
Experience in electronic trading related projects is welcomed.
Experience with Monitoring Tools such as Zabbix /Grafana /Graylog
Knowledge with Network Infrastructure
Ability to learn quickly
Self-starter with strong work ethics, attention to detail, and superior problem-solving skills
Communication skills and a positive mind in order to efficiently communicate with clients.
Can effectively handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
