Are you keen to contribute your talents to a fast-growing start-up and help farmers store CO2 by making the transition to regenerative agriculture?
Are you an agronomist with at least 10 years’ experience in the agricultural sector? We are looking for a motivated individual who shares our enthusiasm for regenerative and low-carbon agriculture.
Soil Capital is a mission-driven company with expertise in regenerative agriculture and the low-carbon transition of agricultural systems. Active internationally, Soil Capital’s ambition is to support farmers in the transition of one million hectares to more profitable and regenerative agriculture by 2025.
We have developed Europe’s first carbon remuneration scheme for farmers, called Soil Capital Carbon. This enables farmers to measure and certify their carbon footprint each year, while at the same time valuing the reduction in their carbon emissions and/or the increase in soil carbon storage on the carbon markets. Agricultural and food companies are using Soil Capital Carbon as a transition tool, to engage their farmers in a low-carbon approach and build new value opportunities through the development of certified low-carbon agricultural value chains.
Soil Capital Carbon is supported by mySoilCapital, an online platform for farmers and partners that collects, processes and delivers data so farmers can put low-carbon regenerative agriculture into practice.
In this context, you will help us to increase the agronomic and economic potential of farms to achieve healthy food, living soil, clean air and abundant biodiversity. You will be the point of contact with many farmers, helping them to improve their farming practices with a personalized report for their farm using our decision support platform. Additionally, you will act as a mentor to our team of motivated junior and medior agronomists, providing guidance and sharing your extensive knowledge to help them develop their skills.
