A bit of context...
As part of its Strategic Plan, Spendesk decided to address customer Expansion through two different departments (Commercial and Customer). Each of them owning a different mission:
- Customer: Focus on Engagement, Satisfaction and Retention
- Commercial: Focus on Upsell / Cross-Sell and Customer Development
Initially only focusing on Key Accounts, the Sales Expansion Team is now looking to expand its customer coverage by addressing the whole Spendesk’s portfolio.
It has then been decided to split the team across two roles:
- Key Account Managers: Focusing on the higher segment of our Customers
- Account Managers: Focusing on Small and Medium Customers
As an Account Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing SMB customers.
You’ll own a large portfolio of customers with the mission of driving customer base expansion through upsell, cross-sell and contract negotiation.
You will actively partner with the customer success team which is in charge of boosting adoption & usage of the product by our customers.
