The position

Job description

As an Accelerator Associate, you’ll be a vital part of our European team, driving success for our Startup Accelerator Programs. Your role will include:

  • Startup Support – Partner with startup founders to provide guidance on business development, product-market fit, and fundraising. Schedule regular check-ins to monitor progress and tackle challenges.

  • Program Operations – Help plan and execute program events, workshops, and networking sessions. Ensure logistics run smoothly and maintain accurate program records.

  • Networking and Relationship Building – Build relationships with industry experts, mentors, and investors. Facilitate connections and represent Starburst at events across the industry.

  • Resource Allocation – Match startups with relevant resources, including service providers, potential partners, and experts, to support their growth.

  • Research and Analysis – Stay on top of industry trends, market shifts, and competitive landscapes to keep our strategies innovative and effective.


Preferred experience

What We’re Looking For:

  • You bring relevant professional experience, ideally in a startup, venture capital, or accelerator environment.

  • A graduate degree or equivalent background in engineering, business, or a related field.

  • You’re fluent in English and German, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for innovation in aviation, space, and/or defense.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivering quality work.

  • You bring curiosity, motivation, and resourcefulness to a small, agile team.

  • Experience with business and productivity tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, to keep things running smoothly.
