Our diverse product suite seamlessly integrates into our users’ workflows, pushing the boundaries of fintech and providing merchants with the tools they need to succeed.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will join the Activation Squad within the Growth Tribe. Your mission will be to guide newly signed-up merchants through their initial journey with SumUp, ensuring they experience tailored, value-driven product interactions from day one. By helping merchants understand the depth of our product ecosystem and its relevance to their business needs, you will play a key role in fostering long-term engagement and success.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to onboard and activate new merchants, ensuring a smooth, personalized introduction to SumUp’s product offerings
  • Continuously optimize the merchant journey, addressing pain points that hinder activation and using insights to improve user engagement
  • Design and execute strategies that help merchants discover and adopt our broader product ecosystem, driving value in line with their business goals
  • Gather requirements, scope projects, and facilitate open discussions to resolve issues and drive successful outcomes
  • Be a voice for our users, employing data-driven insights and customer empathy to shape product experiences that support long-term growth

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in digital product development, preferably with a strong background in product-led growth
  • A proven ability to drive product initiatives, working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver results
  • A can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership, capable of independently solving complex problems
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience creating clear, well-structured narratives to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A pragmatic approach to experimentation, with the ability to quickly iterate, test new ideas, and validate hypotheses to drive continuous improvement and impact key performance metrics
  • Strong analytical mindset and user empathy to define hypotheses, identify opportunities, and measure impact on KPIs
  • Experience aligning diverse stakeholders, building consensus on priorities, and driving collaborative efforts towards shared goals

Why you should join SumUp

  • Be part of a welcoming and international community of 3000+ people from over 50 nationalities across 12 global offices
  • SumUp Corporate Pension Scheme (qualifying earnings)
  • Competitive Health Insurance Cover with Vitality (including optical, dental)
  • Life Assurance cover with MetLife for 2 x your salary
  • Learning & development budget: €2000/year
  • Babbel: unlimited access to the Babbel platform to learn up to 14 languages
  • SumUp Sessions: Confidential, accessible self-care. A mental health & wellbeing tool available to all employees through access to licensed psychotherapists
  • Break4me - 1 month paid annual leave after 3 years of service
