The position

Job description

The design team plays a critical role in ensuring our products are powerful, elegant, and easy to adopt. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us level up our impact, reinforce our UX/UI vision, and structure our design approach.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of design at Swan. Sitting at the intersection of UX, UI, and product strategy, you will help craft seamless, intuitive experiences that make financial services more accessible. Your impact will span across research, design execution, and the evolution of our design culture.

Your mission

  • Design and refine user experiences, ensuring our interfaces are both elegant and effective.

  • Work closely with Product Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex challenges into intuitive solutions.

  • Lead research and discovery efforts, bringing user insights into product decisions.

  • Strengthen and evolve our Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.

  • Advocate for design at a strategic level, helping embed a strong design culture across teams.

  • Optimize processes and ways of working, improving efficiency and execution quality.

  • Mentor and support the design team, sharing knowledge and best practices to raise the bar on craft.

At Swan, design isn’t just about making things look good—it’s about making financial services frictionless, accessible, and impactful. If you’re looking for a place where design is valued at every level and where your work will directly shape the product, we’d love to meet you.

Preferred experience

You’re a great match if:

  • Experience - You have +4years in a similar role on a SaaS B2B Product.

  • User & vision-driven – You always keep the big picture in mind—who you’re designing for and why—while crafting intuitive, meaningful experiences that solve real problems.

  • Craft-obsessed & efficient – You have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in well-executed design, balancing precision with the ability to move fast and iterate effectively.

  • Systems thinker – You design beyond individual screens, ensuring coherence across user flows, anticipating dependencies, and aligning design with business and technical constraints.

  • Smart & impact-driven – You constantly look for ways to improve processes, workflows, and team efficiency, proactively identifying opportunities to raise the bar.

  • Insight-led – You blend user research, data, and business strategy to make informed, high-impact design decisions.

  • Clear communicator – You articulate design choices effectively, aligning cross-functional teams around user-centered solutions.

  • Our ideal teammate: Empathetic. Skilled. Frank. We love to challenge each other, and we leave our egos at the door.

Even Better

These are not required but will set you apart:

  • Fintech experience – You understand the unique UX challenges of financial products (regulation, complexity, security, scalability) and you know the key players in the market.

  • Founder or builder background – You have launched a startup, product, or project, bringing a pragmatic, execution-driven mindset.

  • Multilingual – You speak one or more European languages in addition to English (French, Dutch, German, Spanish, etc.).

  • Public speaking & evangelism – You are comfortable presenting internally and externally, helping advocate for design across teams and at industry events.

It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying! 🙌
