The position

Job description

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the Rocket League Social Media Specialist will assist to develop, animate and engage Team Vitality’s social audiences to support our global leadership ambitions.

The position to be filled is located in Paris.

The RL Social Media Specialist is data-oriented, has a knack for creating and analyzing reports and a strong knowledge of platform algorithms. He/She can work and adapt strategies as platforms change

The RL Social Media Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Creating social media strategies that fit into larger campaigns and advising other departments on best courses of action to achieve important business objectives.

  • Leading the Social Media Marketing Strategy for Team Vitality Rocket League as well as the strategy for our French community.

  • Developing Team Vitality’s brand and its players’ brands within the Rocket League ecosystem as well as supporting on how best to engage and activate the french community across all games.

  • Managing Team Vitality’s Rocket League social media presence on all relevant social media platforms (X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)

  • Creating and delivering creative communications/content plans for Team Vitality Rocket League and its key partners

  • Leading on-site social media content creation for tournaments & media days

Preferred experience

  • 2 to 5 years experience as a Community Manager, Social Media Specialist or similar role.

  • Relevant experience working within the esports or gaming space.

  • An extensive level knowledge of Rocket League, its community, and competitive scene as well as a strong knowledge of the esports scene in general.

  • Knowledge of games that Team Vitality participate in is a bonus.

  • A creative mind, able to produce and create fun, engaging short and longform content.

  • A native French speaking level and a high English level (Native to C1), with strong copywriting skills

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe suite, Capcut & other editing software is a huge plus!
