The engineering division of Technip Energies' Paris office has 60 years' experience in energy project design and is made up of 600 people representing all the disciplines present on our installations (>20). 

The division's Civil Engineering department is looking for a Civil Engineer – Project Quantities Estimation M/F, who will participate in the engineering and design of international projects carried out by TEN France for the group's various business lines, decarbonized solutions (CO2 capture, H2, Wind), LNG or biofuels.   

As a Civil Engineer, your main tasks are: 

• Estimating civil engineering quantities (external works, concrete and steel structure) based on the design choices made by the Engineering teams, using the methods (ratios from past projects) and tools already available in the company, and in particular the Easy Engineering application (internal digital application); 

• Monitoring the corresponding quantities during the execution phase: to collect, check and compile the quantities resulting from detailed engineering (produced by calculation, 3D or 2D modelling software).   

• Successively transmitting the estimated quantities, then those from the detailed engineering, to the Purchasing (steel structure) and Works Contracting (earthworks, civil engineering, concrete, etc.) departments in the requested formats (predefined quantity schedules).  

• Participating in the process of continuous improvement of methods and tools; Identifying needs for improvements to the Easy Engineering application.  

• Be in contact with the teams producing the detail studies in TEN's international operational centres. 

Profile required:  

• Graduate in civil engineering or generalist with a civil engineering option;  

• Initial successful experience in engineering office or on projects in the industrial and/or energy sector;   

• Aptitude for digital tools (database management, SQL, VBA, etc.);  

• Good level of English (spoken and written).
