Construction is about transforming designs, mockups, and blueprints into productive complex structures. With a broader definition than just building, Construction Job Family covers roles related to Site Operations, Subcontracting, and Commissioning.

 

About the Job : 

As a construction system engineer, your main account abilities will be : 

EasyPlant :

  • Ensure the setup activities of the tool: Planning, Quality, Database,CSU, Completion, Preservation.
  • Coordinate the internal interfaces with the different departments for the definition of the project needs on the tool.
  • Participate to the deployment activities of the tool: Planning, Quality, Database, CSU, Completion, Preservation.
  • Ensure the operational activities of the tool: Planning, Quality, Database, PCC, Completion, Preservation.
  • Prepare the requests for developments linked to the project needs.
  • Focal point with the Construction Methods Centre on this matter. 

SPMAT:

  • Maintain and update the Material Control Data Base (SPMAT) at site. 
  • This includes preparing MRRs, OS&Ds, MTRs, MIRs and other inputs and reports as required.
  • Receive materials and issue MRR (Material Receiving Reports) in the db. Post Materials to inventory. Issue inventory reports.
  • Create and issue OS&D Reports (Over, Short & Damage Reports).
  • Maintain a log of O&D reports and expedite resolutions.
  • Run Forecast and Reservation Reports for construction team.
  • Create and issue MTR Material Transfer Reports as needed to movematerials from one location to another.
  • Create and issue MIR Material Issue Reports based on material requisitions prepared by the construction team and /or Sub- Contractors.
  • Reconcile surplus quantities.

 

About You :

You will match our requirements if you have the following requirements :

  • Technical Diploma/Bachelor Degree
  • Fundamental understanding of Construction process
  • Fluency in English
