Our team in Nanterre is currently looking for a Experienced Piping Materials Engineer.

About You:

With about 10 years of experience in the definition of piping/valve equipment in the oil and gas fields ideally, you have solid knowledge of European and international piping codes including CODETI and ASME B31.3 and technical standards ASME, API, MSS, API, BS, NACE Standards EN Use and practice of material management and coding tool (Intergragh Smart Materials). Autonomous, dynamic and responsive, you have good communication skills and evolve with ease in a multicultural environment. Your listening and advisory skills, analysis and synthesis as well as your decision-making and negotiation skills will enable you to successfully assume your responsibilities. You speak English fluently and are mobile for short trips in France and abroad.

About the Job:

Within a team of 3 to 15 people You will participate in design studies and definition of piping equipment as part of the study and supply of our contracts

As a Senior Piping Material Engineer on major contracts, you:

• Will be responsible for defining the piping / valve equipment, in accordance with the Project schedule and the allocated budget,
• Supervise a team of engineers and technicians,
• Report to the Piping Equipment Business Manager on Project
• Assist the Piping Equipment Business Manager and report to the Project Group in his absence

Your main activities will be:

• The development of the summary of piping classes (in collaboration with the Process department), specifications of piping classes (job specification design and supply), data sheets for special equipment,
• Participation in pipe measurements: measurement instruction, management of quantity changes,
• Development of specifications for consultation and purchase,
• Issuance of calls for quantities for consultations and purchases,
• Technical analysis of supplier offers: preparation of comparative tables, clarifications, deviations
• Development of supplier inspection plans
• Review of supplier documents
