As part of this, IDS (Information and Digital Services) teams are working into one global organization delivering information Technology services and expertise to our worldwide disciplines and teams. Enterprise Applications department oversees the Business Relationship, the Products strategy & roadmap, drives Projects and handles Operations and vendors relationship over several hundreds of Applications. 

We seek a Senior Manager for IDS HR Systems, reporting directly to the Enterprise Applications Director, to manage global IDS Products and Services delivery for the HR – People & Culture (P&C) function globally.

 

About the Role

Acting as the Business relationship manager toward Disciplines’ leads, Process owners and Business Units’ representatives, you and applications owners in your team will own the Business governance, design the systems strategy & roadmap, and support the Digital ambitions of T.EN People & Culture global domain.

Working hand in hand with HR Service Delivery Product Owners and P&C leadership, you and your team brings expertise on digital opportunities and capabilities supporting all HR processes : Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Administration, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Employee Services.   

Managing the contractual engagements associated to 20+ applications, you and application owners in your team will secure cost efficient, qualitative, and trustable relationships with all Vendors and implementation partners. You will lead technology & partners sourcing & selection and establish & maintain mature Contracts and Products governance around People & Culture applications. 

Acting as the Business’ main point of contact and key advisor on systems related topics, you and your team will coordinate with IDS Applications, Development, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure and Data teams to secure business delivery and compliance to IDS standards and strategy.

As part of the global IDS global organization, you’ll be interfacing daily with Business and IDS counterparts based worldwide (France, US, India, UK, Malaysia, Italy, UAE …). Overlooking operations on 20+ global and local applications, you will structure and optimize Run standards, targeting ITIL best practices and ensuring compliance to Technip Energies IT policies.

Upon major evolutions, you and delivery leads/Project Managers in your team will frame and define the Projects’ Business Cases, secure an efficient Governance with Business sponsors  and drive the Delivery activities coordinating with IDS and Business stakeholders. 

Overseeing the Domains’ Operations and Project portfolio’s financials, you will be coordinating a team of about 20 Business Relationship managers, Delivery leads, Project Managers, Product leads, Architecture & BI specialists and Application support analysts based in France, the UK, and India, plus 3rd party vendors teams supporting our delivery. 

 

About the Job

IDS HR Systems Senior Manager M/F role encompasses the following activities:

  • Responsible for establishing efficient and trustful governance with Business Sponsors and Process owners
  • In charge of defining evolution roadmap in accordance with the business strategy and IDS orientations & standards 
  • Own Business requirements identification and capture with People & Culture Corporate and Local Business managers
  • Own P&C Systems Project Portfolio and secure Business Cases validation on visible initiatives
  • Drive Projects assessment phases and relationship with appointed Project managers, managed services & other delivery teams involved in the domain’s systems 
  • Sponsor Domain’s Projects efficiency toward Business counterparts and oversee delivery is aligned to defined Business objectives and KPIs
  • Own HR Systems applications portfolio, driving IDS Enterprise Application strategy for rationalization and harmonization in coordination with Business Lines leadership and Corporate Business Process Owners.
  • Own HR Systems Vendors relationship and contractual engagements ; lead Vendors and implementation partners sourcing and selection, drive and monitor delivery performances and costs in line with Business objectives
  • Own HR Systems Operations toward Business counterpart, oversee operations processes and standards, systems releases, maintenance & versioning and manage performance metrics.
  • Own Domain’s budget definition and tracking, secure procurement efficiency and Compliance, manage external resources and 3rd party performances and costs.
  • Manage and support Career, Work/Life balance, Objectives and Performance for HR Systems department employees. 
  • Secure Projects’ and Operations’ Compliance toward Financial and ESG regulations. 

 

About You

  • Master’s degree in data, Engineering, or Information Technology / Business School with IT/data-oriented work experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in IT or Digital organizations including 5+ years of experience managing an IT Domain for HR functions applications. 
  • Track-record of significant IT Projects (> 1M€) delivery and critical Business Applications operations. 
  • Ability to handle interfaces with senior leadership.
  • Worldwide team management experience.
  • Strong experience and Business process knowledge with several of the following Business domains: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Administration, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Employee Services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on these domains’ major technologies and vendors: Oracle HCM or eBusinessSuite, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Cornerstone On demand, Major Payroll systems, ServiceNow HRSD, HR Document Management systems…
  • Budget ownership and financial management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing SAAS Applications & Vendors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French & English.

Nice to have:

Energy Industry experience

  • Data centric architecture and operations definition, experience with Master Data 
  • Solid IT background including Infrastructure and Cyber Security aspects (Active Directory, Office365, hosting, connectivity, Cyber Security standards…) 
  • Experience with BI architecture and technologies.
  • ITIL v3 processes certification or seasoned experience
  • PMI/Prince2 certification

 

Recruitment process
