Your team

Within the Engineering division of Technip Energies' Paris office (T.EN), you will report to the Information Management department.

With 60 years of experience in energy project design, the division is made up of 600 people representing all disciplines present at our facilities (>20).

Your playground

Within a multicultural task force, you will participate in the engineering and execution of projects, carried out by T.EN France for the group's various Business Lines, decarbonized solutions (CO2 capture, H2, Wind), LNG or biofuels. 

On these projects, you will be integrated into the Information Management (IM) team, which has a cross-functional role in data collection, verification, structuring and consolidation, interfacing with all disciplines within T.EN (technical disciplines, project management, purchasing, construction) as well as with our mainly international partners (customer, suppliers, other operational centers, etc.). 

Your daily life:

Within the Engineering division and the Information Management department, on the MARSA project, you will report to the Information Management Manager who will be your internship tutor. 

The objective of the internship is to strengthen the Information Management team to help it develop data quality monitoring and analysis reports, to improve the processes of collection, processing and transmission of project data. 

Your missions will be: 

• Help the Information Management team save time in their daily tasks : simplify the process of structuring data between customer requirements and the final creation of intelligent models (intelligent models are Excel tools used to automatically and simplify data from different companies). The goal is to be able to create intelligent models from simplified tables provided by customers and easier to update.
• Help the Project team and IM team gain better visibility into and control data to ensure quality : Develop standard reports connected to our engineering database using Power BI to:
  • Data quality verification and monitoring
  • Data consistency between the 3D model and the 1D engineering data
  • Data management progress reports and KPI reports
• Help the IM team work more efficiently : test (or even create) new data management tools to improve the work process: for example, tools to extract data from documents, to detect errors in a large dataset...

Profile sought:

Currently in the final year of a master's degree at university or in an engineering school with a specialization in data, you are looking for an end-of-studies internship. You have experience in data processing or analysis, during a previous internship or student projects. 

Interested in engineering and the energy sector, you are eager to learn with a proactive attitude towards acquiring new skills and applying them effectively.

Comfortable with managing and processing large databases, you are interested in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies. Passionate about data and data visualization with a solid understanding of data-driven decision-making, you are able to build reports by finding the right balance between quantitative and qualitative indicators.

You have a good practice of English, and are comfortable working with English-speaking colleagues on a daily basis.

You are proficient in Excel (including advanced features) and PowerBI. SQL is a plus.
