The position

Job description

TiHive’s laboratory is filled with innovation and creativity. TiHive’s Terahertz solutions have various applications to solve multiple industrial problems. The R&D department is specialised in designing and implementing new technologies and products, and conducting experiments and exploring new possibilities. In this context, your missions will be:

  • System Production and Assembly: Participate in the production, assembly, testing and validation of our Terahertz devices and systems, including electro-optical, software and mechanical tests.

  • System Deployment: Participate in deploying our solutions at our customers’ facilities, starting by the pre-deployment preparations all the way to installation, power-up and validation of our products in their industrial environments.

  • Experimentation and New use-cases: Prepare and perform experiments on a variety of samples using different test equipment within our laboratory. Work with the R&D team and external partners/clients to ensure all technical tests are complete and recorded as part of our experimentation and use-case exploration programme

  • Inventory and Shipment: Participate in organising our inventory, tracking and managing supplies and lab orders


Preferred experience

You are the ideal candidate if:

  • You are in the process of validating a general or mechatronics engineering degree

  • Comfortable with digital/technical laboratory equipment including 3D printing

  • Confident using PC software.

  • Dynamic, proactive

  • Essential communication skills

  • Professional written and oral English skills

  • Highly methodical and have a high level of attention to detail

  • High level of autonomy once the work plan is defined

  • You are a team player

  • You are eligible to work in the EU
