The position

Job description

As an Influence Manager at VivaTech, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the influence strategy created with your manager.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Creating, managing, and animating an international influencer community year-round, including during VivaTech :

  • Build a truly international influence community encompassing tech leaders, opinion leaders, and content creators, particularly B2B and corporate actors.

  • Identify relevant profiles in line with the event’s leadership and brand awareness objectives

  • Define levers adapted to identified targets (content, actions, events, speaking engagements, etc.) to turn them into long-term ambassadors.

  • Develop a close relationship with the identified profiles and keep the community alive throughout the year.

  • Experiment with new formats, content, etc. to increase community engagement and satisfaction, and maximize the resonance of actions implemented with our ambassadors.

  • Accompany the community during the 4-day event, to provide them with the best possible on-site experience.

B2B / B2C influencer activation in the run-up to VivaTech :

In support of a person specifically in charge of influence during the event, you will be tasked with:

  • Setting up influencer partnerships to increase VivaTech’s visibility in the run-up to and during the event, and participating in the associated ticketing strategy.

  • Managing relations with influencers participating in the event (media accreditation, invitations, transport, speaker contacts, content sharing, etc.).


Preferred experience

  • Experience: 3-4 years experience in a community creation and management role, preferably in a B2B, startup, tech, or innovative environment. Knowledge of relationships with content/media creators is a real plus for this position.

  • Expertise: Ideally, you already have a network of opinion leaders, relationships are at the heart of your strategy, you’re curious, connected to current events, proactive, and always on the lookout for creative ideas to engage your community.

  • Language skills: Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills to engage a community outside France (especially in the US). Fluent in French for internal communications, although part of the marketing/communications team is English-speaking.

  • Characteristics: Sociable, autonomous, creative, organized, and collaborative. You will be working in a dynamic, agile, and fast-paced international environment, and are enthusiastic about playing an active part in preparing a world-renowned event.
