20, Anglická, Prague
120 00Prague
In Prague, you can find Welcome to the Jungle offices near the city center, next to Náměstí Míru, in the heart of trendy Vinohrady. At Anglická 20 we enjoy not only great accessibility but most importantly being surrounded by the best cafes and restaurants for brunch, lunch, or an after-work drink.
Meanwhile, everyone has a permanent place in the office, and there are a couple of meeting rooms for meetings and a pro studio for our shoots. Most often we spend time with the team at the big table next to the kitchen, where we have breakfast and lunch together. Sometimes we go out on the terrace, which has a view of almost the whole of Prague. It's important to us that everyone feels comfortable in the office, so we style it in a very practical but also cosy way - we simply want to feel good.
At Welcome to the Jungle, we have confidence in our employees and believe in the effectiveness of flexible working. For this reason, everyone can use up to 50% homeoffice. However, we have big challenges ahead of us and we want to pull together with the team, so we also meet together at our office in Vinohrady. We believe that the office is a place for team moments, various meetings, but deep work is often better done from home. So we give the team the flexibility to work where they are most effective and where they feel comfortable.
Our company is still growing and we already have offices in 3 countries - besides the Czech Republic, in France (Paris) and in the UK (London).
In Paris we have our headquarters in the heart of the Sentier district in the 2nd arrondissement. Thanks to its central location, the offices are perfectly accessible by public transport or bike-sharing. The space, the furniture, the ergonomics - everything is designed to allow people to work in the best possible conditions. Although teams have their favourite places, we have also prepared spaces where they can meet and work together formally and informally.
Our offices in London are located between Old Street and Farringdon, London's tech hubs. They are surrounded by fantastic food markets offering a variety of cuisines such as Korean, Brazilian, Indian and Turkish - perfect for a nice lunch.
Welcome to the Jungle is a company that guides people on their career journey. It helps them find suitable positions where they feel comfortable and fit into the company culture, bringing information, inspiration and trends from the world of work. It also humanises companies, shows their authentic company culture and works to improve their employer brand. It offers a wide range of quality content such as articles, videos and professional events to show not only young professionals that a sustainable career involves much more than just good financial compensation.
In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Welcome to the Jungle features more than 100 company profiles, while globally users can gain insight into more than 5,500 companies in four European countries and soon the US. This allows candidates to get to know companies from all angles - including photos, videos and various statistics that provide valuable information. This makes it much easier for candidates to find colleagues they can really fit in with and a place where they feel comfortable and can find long-term employment.
However, Welcome to the Jungle is not just about company profiles. With their own sophisticated ATS (applicant tracking system), companies can improve the recruitment process and therefore the candidate experience. Recruiters can share unlimited job postings within their company profile on Welcome to the Jungle and efficiently manage candidate responses, conveniently and in one place.
The team includes people from various disciplines - from media production, multimedia production, business to photographers and videographers. The goal of Welcome to the Jungle is always to create the most diverse team possible, where everyone pulls together and works towards a common success. It is a young project where those who want to see the real impact of their work, help international growth and are not afraid of responsibility will feel the best. A willingness to keep learning, flexibility and an open mindset that allows the whole team to move forward is important.
The Czech team started in November 2015 as a career showroom Proudly. From the beginning, it had the ambition to create a European international platform, and since it shared a similar vision with French Welcome to the Jungle, a strategic merger took place in early 2019. Thus, the assembled team started to operate in a new yellow and black "jersey" but with the same vision. The company's corporate culture has since taken a big step forward. Instead of being a punk startup, the international team has shifted to more efficient processes, allowing it to help even more clients and users. Yet they have retained the startup energy and most importantly - the appetite to change the job market.
Flexible working hours and home-office are a given. The office is used to meet with colleagues, clients or candidates, but work can be done from anywhere. The team has many internal rituals to keep them informed, educated and pulling together. The company is based in Prague's Vinohrady district, a short walk from Náměstí Míru, in a location full of popular cafes, restaurants and bistros. There is also a large terrace where colleagues regularly meet for meetings and celebrations of success. They also enjoy spending time together after work at various Jungle activities or enjoying a good dinner and a drink.
