About the role:

Working alongside Aurélien, our CTO, you will work as a Backend Engineer on improving the overall architecture, with a view to supporting growth and achieving WeWard’s ambitions! You will contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our features, such as the affiliation feature.

By joining the team, you’ll be part of an entrepreneurial adventure in which every team member makes a full contribution. You’ll be involved in the company’s strategic and technical decisions, and you’ll have a strong and immediate impact on our users: 3M daily users 🚶‍♂️📱

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and deploy sustainable code (api or scripts)

• Optimise and improve the performance of queries (sql or python)

• Be proactive and be capable of leading projects from start to finish

We’re looking for someone who knows Python itself, and ideally Flask (we’re open to other Python Web frameworks).

We’re (also) looking for someone who’s able to develop and consume APIs, while being sensitive to code quality, and for whom Automation and CI/CD aren’t character names in Hogwarts 🧙, but well and truly deployment processes. We’re currently working on Github Actions, Docker and AWS Services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.).

In addition to this purely technical aspect, we also expect you to be able to challenge the infrastructure by proposing relevant improvements or new features. And that you’re able to interact with different types of contacts (revenue, product, devOps…) 🤝
