We are seeking an outstanding Junior Project Manager who shows enthusiasm for new technical solutions, services, and devices and is not afraid to express creativity and think outside the box. A highly organized, initiative-taking, and agile practitioner is the right candidate for this role.
What is a VIE Program? It is an international program supported by The French Embassy and Business France, that allows you to join our US team for 18 months. You’ll be part of our local engineering team and work on our local IoT projects.
Please note that this program is only open to European citizens aged at least 18 but not yet 29.
Witekio is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager responsible for managing projects and customer engagements. Candidates familiar with embedded Linux and IoT technologies are a plus.
In this role, you will:
- In collaboration with a Senior Project Manager, coordinate the internal and external project teams from inception through to completion
- Work closely with engineers and other project managers to help resolve issues and communicate technical concepts related to projects to provide superior customer service
- Monitor Engineering activities using development methodologies and provide project status
- Review projects and timelines for accurate resource allocation
- Provide regular project status health reports and risks assessment to internal and external project stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager, prepare and propose action plans to our customers and provide frequent updates on the project
- Partner with Sales and Engineering Leadership to create quotes and statements of work and obtain customer purchase orders
Your Background:
- Must be highly organized and have excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience using systems like Jira and Confluence for project tracking and status reports a plus
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use internal tools along with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Software development or professional services background
- Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Use of English in professional context (written and verbal)
- Applied experience with software development methodologies a plus
- Formal project management training and/or PMI Certification a plus
