Job description

We recognize that digital transformation is essential at every level of the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. To support this transformation, our client, a leading global FMCG company specializing in snacks and confectionery, is seeking an experienced and innovative Digital Transformation & Upskilling Project Manager to lead a ground-breaking internal upskilling initiative from scratch.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a cutting-edge internal system that will revolutionize how employees access and learn new skills. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of this ambitious project, from conceptualization and design to implementation and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  1. Project Oversight:

    • Lead all phases of the project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.

    • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

    • Track project progress, analyze data, and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

    • Conduct regular audits and ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.

  2. Program Development & Execution:

    • Develop and execute global and local upskilling programs aligned with business objectives and cultural nuances.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across different regions to plan, facilitate workshops, and define strategic roadmaps.

    • Identify and leverage emerging technologies, such as Gen AI, to enhance learning experiences.

  3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, subject matter experts, and regional teams.

    • Develop and deliver clear and concise communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.

    • Create compelling presentations, newsletters, and other communication materials to showcase project achievements.

  4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Establish robust performance tracking mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of upskilling programs.

    • Analyze data to identify trends, measure ROI, and make data-driven decisions.

    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

  5. Team Leadership & Support:

    • Guide and support the development of high-quality upskilling materials, including masterclasses, training programs, and interactive learning modules.

    • Mentor and support team members in their professional development.


Preferred experience

The main skills necessary for this role:

  • Past exposure to digital transformation projects and initiatives, and leading such projects.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing successful upskilling projects, with a strong understanding of both technical and creative aspects.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering engaging learning programs for diverse audiences. Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies preferred.

  • Some experience with creative tasks, such as marketing and content creation, is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Gen AI and its potential applications in learning and development would be a big plus!

Expected qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Communication, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Digital Project Management, with a strong preference for experience within the FMCG industry or with other leading global brands.

  • Complete proficiency and fluency in English (native-level preferred).

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Experience working with international teams and navigating cultural nuances.

This role will commence in early February. We are thus seeking candidates who are available to start immediately or shortly thereafter.
