Job description

Wooclap is seeking a dynamic Event Manager to orchestrate global events that promote our EdTech solutions. This role is key to planning and executing both virtual and physical events in collaboration with strategic partners worldwide. If you excel in delivering impactful event experiences that drive brand engagement and lead generation, we welcome your expertise.

Responsibilities and Duties

🌍 Global Event Planning and Execution (50%)

  • Organise and manage events across various international locations, coordinating with local teams and strategic partners to ensure global standards and objectives are met.

  • Handle all aspects of event planning including logistics, vendor management, and attendee satisfaction, ensuring alignment with Wooclap’s strategic goals.

🤝 Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration (30%)

  • Collaborate with global marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure that events support broader business and lead generation objectives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and sponsors to maximize event impact and reach.

🔍 Performance Measurement and Optimisation (20%)

  • Implement tools and strategies to measure event effectiveness, focusing on metrics such as lead generation, attendee engagement, and ROI.

  • Use feedback and analytics to continuously refine and scale event strategies, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.

Preferred experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in event management, preferably in a global context.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Marketing, Event Management, or related field preferred.

  • Demonstrable ability to plan and execute events, with a keen eye for detail and project management.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to deadlines, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural environments and teams.

  • Fluent in English & French
